Description: A percussion instrument created from the sounds of tapping, banging, banging and scratching violin, viola, cello and bass. We have recorded 40 unique sounds. There is a truly human feeling behind each one, some sounds more traditional while others are much more experimental.
Includes over 200 drag-and-drop MIDI loops written and performed by percussionists. A great starting point if you need instant inspiration. It’s just as useful if you’re on a tight deadline and just need something that works.
In any case, this is a library of percussion samples that is slightly different. Great for rhythmic string quartet arrangements, as well as full-blown action when you need something that doesn’t feel like the percussion of any other composer.
As with all of our custom-designed interfaces, we want you to have a logical and clear placement where everything is at your fingertips.
To make the tool easier to understand, you can hover your mouse over any control and instructions will appear in the information bar of the Kontakt window.
Recorded at The Nave, one of the finest recording studios in the North of England; converted church with the most beautiful concert hall. The Neumann U47, U87 and Brauner VMA mic deliver really warm, full and highly detailed sound. Stereo pair Neumann KM184 provides a more spacious and lively stereo plane. Everything was recorded using Neve preamps and APIs, an AMEK Rembrandt console and recorded at 96 kHz using world-class Apogee AD16X A / D converters.
