Unfiltered Audio – Zip 1.0 (VST, VST3, AAX) [Win x86 x64]

By | November 19, 2017

Zip among compressors is like Lamborghini among cars. Zip creates unique effects and instantly solves complex problems with sound, leaving other traditional compressors behind.
Zip can provide both traditional compression and downward expansion (quiet sections of the signal become even quieter), switching between processes is done with a single mouse click.

Six compression modes : Amplitude, Quietness, Brightness, Darkness, Noisiness and Tonalness – depending on the signal level, frequency content or noise of the signal at the Zip input. On tracks with bass guitar, select Darkness mode to compress low notes, while freeing up space for higher notes, giving basses a breath. You can use the Noisiness mode on the overloaded electric guitar chords, making the jamming palm more sonorous.

Four types of envelopes : Classic, Goopy, Quick and Extreme – modify attacks and release, adapting them to your specific needs. Use the lightning-fast Extreme mode on the drum microphones to blast the atmosphere of space while simultaneously making the sound of the bass drum and the snare more dense and more assertive. In full mixes, Classic and High Pass filtering in the side chain will make the low-frequency of your mix. Or use the Goopy type to add vintage sound and density. Zip has many features.

Modulators : To create creative effects, Zip includes the flagship Unfiltered Audio modulation system. Eight different internal modulators, as well as a patch for external ROLI Lightpad. At the same time up to six modulators can be used – on most Zip controls, with each modulator being routed to as many targets as you need.

Using modulators, you can easily create pulsating rhythms in your music-with complex external side chain routing. Drag the virtual LFO cable into the Expander Threshold to convert the static synthetic pad to a dynamic staccato synchronized with the tempo of your song. Engage the lifeless synth path by working on the sawtooth LFO with the Ratio knob of the compressor, creating a Ducking effect in the Big Room EDM style, which will cause the track to synchronize with the drum. Route the sequencer to the compressor output to turn the plug into a trick gate. Create a classic tremolo effect by directing a sinusoidal LFO wave to the Zip output. Creative possibilities are endless!

Color knob : allows you to apply warm saturation, brightness of phase modulation, beatcrisher or any of the two 2-pole filters on the output of the plug-in.
