Description : In this short course, Matt Hayes will understand how synthesizers and samplers create and manipulate sound. He will show you how to create your own synthesizer patch from scratch and how to create your own sampling instruments, as well as the basics of MIDI sequencing and editing.
Musicians, Producers, Audio Engineers, Beat Makers, and Artists: Odds are a sampler and a synthesizer already. You can understand those buttons? Or are you just trying stuff until it sounds cool?
I can help you improve your workflow when making music. If you use hardware instruments or plug-ins, then these controls and concepts are universal to every synthesizer and sampler. If you are creating music software such as FL Studio, Logic, Pro Tools, Reason, Nuendo, Cubase, MPC Renaissance, etc., it doesn’t matter. Again, these concepts are universal.
This is a short course (less than 30 lectures, all less than 20 mins). If you’re trying to create a custom synth, you’ll find out how to create your own sampler instruments, then you’ll be able to create your own sampler instruments.
