Description: Vintage Channel Strip consists of three plug-ins: EQ 601, Compressor 260 and Compressor 276, which reproduce the sound characteristics of several classic hardware equalizers and compressors of the 1970s. Accurately reflecting the analog circuitry of these masterpieces of hardware, these plug-ins have also been refined by leading engineers to provide an interface that combines ease of use with exceptional sonic results.
EQ 601 – Combines the sound of a classic 1970s equalizer with a wide range of practical features. The plugin offers six fully parametric bands allowing you to control the frequency with maximum precision. The low and high bands include shelving filters, while the four mid bands come with peak filters, accurately reproducing both the boost and cut response of vintage analog equipment. Drive Mode allows the engineer to bring back the original analog distortion characteristics of the good old days into a modern DAW system
Compressor 276 is a stereo compressor that has brought many professional productions to perfection. Offering classic-style compression based on the power of the best studio equipment, Compressor 276 is the perfect choice for both acoustic instruments and vocals. VCM technology allows you to experience the unique response and frequency response of a 1970s analog masterpiece.
Compressor 260 – Reimagines the classic sound of famous compressor / limiter modules used by audio professionals in the late 1970s. Compressor 260, carefully simulating renowned voltage controlled solid state amplifiers and RMS detection circuits that elevated original equipment to legendary status, surpasses it in both studio and concert halls
Anyone able to provide more detail on how to activate these?
I’ve installed the 3 components but aren’t seeing an obvious way to activate the VST plugins?
