Together, this series of packages talks about how soul music appeared and developed over the past few decades. For this vocal package, Kim Mayo and Seal Dubenion sent some serious vibrations to Billy Holliday and Donnie Hathaway.
They improvised all their melodies through the stream of consciousness during the studio session of their group. We took these raw performances and used Vocalsynth, Antares Harmony Engine and other effects to make these samples at home in any modern R&B or neo-soul track.
