Quality: 24 bit 44.1 kHz stereo

Description: This is the first set of four we’ve created with The Love Experiment, a New York-based future soul band led by drummer, composer and producer Charles “Blvk Samurai” Burchell. Founded in Boston, Massachusetts in 2010, the group has performed across the United States for the past six years, sharing the stage with artists such as Talib Kweli, Iman Omari, Mad Satta, Si * Se, Retro Stefson, Nesby Phips and many more. … More.
The recording works in a similar way to how recordings are tracked, but we started with the basics and overlaid them, session by session. The result is an organic and soulful old school sound mixed with new school notes. This package, based largely on how soul music has evolved over the past few decades, features classic soulful keyboards and vocals paired with African-style polyrhythms, jazz bass, hip-hop beats and more.
