Repro-5 is an excellent emulation of the well-known “Prophet-5” synthesizer. Known for its analog sound and stunning versatility, this synthesizer can be heard in countless hits.
This sound set focuses on kinematic and ambient / atmospheric analog sounds. Best for accompanying / experimental / ambient music. Meridian offers a unique mix of familiar sounds that have passed into an unexpected area of sound. Repro-5 internal effects are well used to add size, width and character.
Meridian contains a lush, distant atmosphere, analog subbases, synchronized textures and pads, effects, low-frequency percussion, atmospheric pads, animated polyphonic analog synthetic sounds and leads.
These sounds are borrowed from many influential composers and artists such as Ryuichi Sakamoto, Max Richter, Clint Mansell, Cliff Martinez, John Hopkins, Ben Salisbury & Geoff Barrow and Benjamin Wallfisch. Many patches offer added adaptivity, programmed in the modulation wheel.
