Sonarworks Reference 4 is designed to calibrate systems to provide the most uniform amplitude-frequency response in a room. The program can also be used to create personalized frequency response that meet the taste of the user. True, initially Sonarworks products are still focused on musicians, but nothing prevents its use by ordinary music lovers.

While Reference app itself is protected by formal C&R keyfile with RSA
signature, its downloadable content is all encrypted by ComputerID, which
means you cannot simply share the profile to other users’ computers.

    The patched reference app is not working. Comes up with message “The application “Reference 4 Systemwide” can’t be opened.” on OSX

    It’s probably a permission error, just run “sudo chmod -R 777 filename” in your terminal, or use an app like Batchmod (doing it in the terminal only worked for me though)

    you need to remove spaces from app name and drop to termina:l sudo chmod -R 777 /Applications/Reference4Systemwide.app
