Installation instructions :
1) Install RS 2.5.40
2) Copy redshift-core.lic to C:\ProgramData\Redshift
3) Maya and Houdini: copy .dll’s to C:\ProgramData\Redshift\bin (overwrite)
4) 3dsMax: copy .dll’s to C :\Program Files\Autodesk\3ds Max 201x (overwrite)
5) C4D: copy .dll’s to C:\Program Files\MAXON\CINEMA 4D R16-R19\plugins\Redshift (overwrite)

 

Solving Common Mistakes
A: C4D doesn’t see Redshift.
R: You need C4D R16+ to run Redshift.
At the same time, blue builds should not be lower than these.
Cinema 4D R19: R19.024
Cinema 4D R18: R18.039
Cinema 4D R17: R17.053
Cinema 4D R16: R16.050
If you have a lower build then update C4D (Help, check for updates…)
