Description : Authentic software replication of a great 1960s vintage keyboard.
The Purgatory Creek Soundware Reed EP 140b provides ten velocity levels and seven more layers of sampled release.
Although the later models 200 and 200a were more common, the 140 series electric pianos can be heard on numerous recordings made in the 1960s. Each of the 64 notes of the piano was recorded for the full duration, providing accurate sound without artificial envelopes of sound decay or looping of samples. The tool uses 44 MB of RAM and requires 465 MB of free disk space.
You’ll find a three-band equalizer, volume for sampled releases, and a velocity curve dialog box that allows the user to adjust the instrument so that it responds to the touch. In addition, there are controls for tremolo, phaser and reverb effects. Finally, a number of amplifier simulations are proposed.
