Description : ZBrush 2020.1 update is out
Pixologic have updated ZBrush to version 2020.1, fixing bugs and including a few small improvements.
First of all, version 2020.1 fixes bugs that the developers missed in the big release of ZBrush 2020, which took place at the end of last year.

For example, they fixed:
– a program crash when working with Interactive Light brushes,
– the operation of the History Recall brush from Split Screen Mode.

Improvements include color selection for model analysis results in Draft Analysis mode.
The Clip, Slice, and Trim brushes stopped working in the newly introduced Morph UV mode when ZBrush converts a 3D model into a plane that you can paint on. The Lasso Select brush now supports large selections.

Update 2020.1.1 is out.
Fixes for this version:
Fixed: Additional edit point added when holding Spacebar with any brush that makes use of the Ctrl+Shift combination. For example: Select Lasso, Clip brushes, Trim brushes, and CreaseCurve.
Some minor adjustments to internal ZBrush functions.

Installation order:
1. Install the ZBrush_2020_Installer.exe program (who already has the ZBrush 2020 version installed – go to step 2);
2. Run updater.exe (before that, copy it from the ZBrush 2020.1.1 update folder to the folder with ZBrush 2020 installed). Follow the installer’s instructions. (in particular, make sure that the update installer correctly identified the folder where ZBrush 2020 is installed)
3. From the ZBrush 2020.1.1 update\Fix 1.1 folder of this distribution, copy the ZBrush.exe file with a replacement to the folder with ZBrush installed.
4. Everything.
UPD: Just in case, block ZBrush’s access to the Internet using a firewall/firewall or add the line “127.0.0.1 pixologic.com” to the hosts file (C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts)

Options:
– ZBrush 2020 is not installed: follow steps 1, 2, 3;
– Installed ZBrush 2020 or ZBrush 2020.1: follow steps 2, 3.
