Master Legato: This is a master legato patch that contains three different legato articulations; each is individually activated depending on the velocity.
Velocities 41-90 is a core range that uses natural legato plucked articulation – your bread and butter. The intervals recorded for this go up to the 3rd major degree
Velocities 1-40 is your plucked articulation glide that is exactly that; sliding the string to the target note, which is then plucked (from 3rd minor to octave). C major 2 this legato speed activates the slide no pluck articulation. You can adjust the speed of these slides using the modulation wheel.
Bonus Beefy Legato: This was more of an experiment; we wrote the legato intervals to a major 2nd in a more aggressive/impulsive way. Suitable for calmer walking bass lines.
The Performance Sustains patch is a real workhorse; consists of samples taken from carefully chosen phrases, which improves tone, consistency and flow.
Body Perc includes a selection of slaps, thuds, fret slides and room tones – all displayed below the vertical bass range. With this setup, you can play both patches at the same time and jam.
