Description: We are very pleased to present you a series that is unlike any other to date! Together with the talented Colombian mixer Mosti, we explore a genre that has gained worldwide popularity under his influence – reggaeton. In Spanish (subtitles available), the Latin Grammy Award winner recounts how he mixed J Balvin’s popular 2015 single “Ginza”. Opening the Pro Tools multitrack session, Mosty will introduce you to its approach and techniques used to create powerful, club-friendly sound, all in the box! He talks about the creative recording process that involved working with producer Sky, and gives an overview of his session setup, track layout and workflow. Walking you through each track, Mosty demonstrates how he mixed and processed vocals, drums, bass lines, and synths on individual tracks, stems, and his master bus. He justifies his methods in terms of aesthetics, culture, digital sound and contemporary diversity in the media.
