Installation :
- Unzip the Sequoia 16 V16.8.0 program.
- Mount the “Sequoia 16.7.1.22078.iso” disk.
- Run the setup program (/product/Sequoia16_setup.exe).
- Apply “Patch_Sequoia_16.8.0.22081.exe”.
- Copy the files from the “R2R/Magic” folder to the Sequoia 16 installation folder.
- If you did not install the 32-bit version, you do not need to copy “Sequoia_u.exe”.
- You will also need to install our CodeMeter emulator (R2R-WAIFU) v1.8.0 or higher.

* AxProtector is unpacked. It loads faster, uses less memory, has no DRM compatibility issues with third-party plugins from, has antidebug, resource protection.

HISTORY OF SEQUOAYA CRACKING

The last FULL working release was Seguioa 7 by H2O. It was protected by WIBU’s
former donkle solution called WibuKey (released in 1989). After some time,
Seguioa adopted the next solution CodeMeter, which supports modern
crypto standard like AES, ECC, RSA.
Seguioa 12.1.x was suddenly cracked by some qroups. This happened because the main
executable binaries were not protected by AxProtector. Anyway, some other
tools like DDP were still protected by AxProtector. They were leaked in
As a result, Seguioa 12 crack was leaked. Updates unfortunately had
AxProtector-ed executable. No cracks appeared after that.
Seguioa 13.0.x was once unpacked from AxProtector by someone. It did not use
the stolen AxProtector calls or resource protection. DDP tools, LC1 pluqin
were not cracked.
Seguioa 15 did not use AxProtector. Only some others, like DDP Player
used AxProtector. So the R2R protein emulator was enough to make
the main program work. Interestingly, MAGIX did not use
AxProtector in any update.
Since Seguioa 16, MAGIX uses a stricter option of AxProtector. It has more
complex steal calls and resource protection that were not used before.
In any case, the result is obvious – everything is done! All optoins and DDP Player
are available for you
THE BADNESS OF AXPROTECTOR

Besides the basic protection, AxProtector has several options that do
unpacking. However, these advanced protections are too selfish.
1.Win32 API Hookinq
AxProtector overwrites some functions in kernel32.dll. Any calls to these
APIs (including those from third-party developers!) will be redirected to AxProetctor’s own implementation
.
2.Resource
protection Resource protection is also done by hooking Win32 APIs, such as LoadResource.
Some of the resources, such as Dialoq, Strinq, are encrypted. They will not be
decrypted until proqram calls LoadResource for this resource. Some of
the resource-related APIs are not supported by this protector.
In general, to ensure compatibility with third-party plugins, these advanced
options are strictly prohibited. Overwriting code in shared DLLs is simply bad.
It is not hard to guess that they have already received a lot of complaints from their
“professional” customers. We believe that this is the reason why MAGIX has stopped
using AxProtector from time to time in some versions of Seguioa. This would be
the fastest way to solve the problem!
Of course, after the hacker does everything right, the pirated version will become much
more stable and faster.
CAN THEY PROTECT MORE?

All MAGIX can do with CodeMeter is use the cryptographic functions of CoreAPI,
or use IxProtector (dynamic encryption/decryption of code). Oops, both options were already
publicly defeated by R2R many years ago
CodeMeter has a licensed opt-in for attackers, but it is another
nightmare for lekt clients.
