Description: Meet the new Audiolens desktop application that makes it easy to find and compare tracks by analyzing audio from any streaming platform or audio source. Create your own personal library of reference tracks that you can access at any time to compare with your own mixes or masters.
Additional Information:
The new Audiolens desktop app makes it easy to find and compare tracks by analyzing audio from any streaming platform or audio source. Play the sound of your choice through your device’s selected output and the app will collect data on key audio characteristics, helping you visualize, compare and contrast your favorite reference tracks and sounds.
Save the tone data of your links in the Audiolens Destination Library to create a personal reference track data directory that you can access at any time. Name your tracks so you can quickly find the sounds you want to match and easily compare tonal balance profiles. The target library talks to Ozone 10 and Neutron 4, automatically populating your links to those plugins if you have them.
USE WITH OZONE 10
Audiolens will automatically populate the saved reference targets in your Ozone 10 target library so you can visualize how your master matches up with the reference you choose. Launch the AI-powered Master Assistant to match your desired track’s tone, dynamics and width profiles to your own master, and dial in advanced settings with Assistant View.
USE WITH NEUTRON 4
The Audiolens will automatically populate the saved reference targets in your Neutron 4 target library, where they will be analyzed by the Neutron Assistant. You can then quickly match the characteristics in your own track’s mix, whether it’s adding kicks to the bass, bringing the snare drum to life, or hi-hat hiss. Next, fine-tune your sound with the assistant to dial in the elements of the mix.
Producers and engineers use track links during music creation, mixing and mastering. Reference is the process of comparing the dynamic range and character of your song with songs of the same genre and style for the desired sound. The dynamic range and sonic character of the reference track can be used to convey the sound you want in your mix or master. Reference tracks are also a way to develop a musical vocabulary that will help you communicate when you’re working on a song with other people.
