The ARC System 3 consists of an ultra-precise measurement microphone, analysis software and a correction plug-in. The system is designed to improve the accuracy of monitoring in any premises. The system simplifies operation and allows you to hear all the audio details of the material with confidence.
ARC 3 has everything you need to focus on your music and get it right across any speaker: a simple and straightforward calibration process, a new adjustment algorithm, and an improved graphical interface.
Trust your ears – Rooms have a huge impact on how music sounds. Walls, furniture and other objects reflect and absorb sound in different ways, creating complex distortions that alter the frequency balance and stereo field. This is why a mix that sounded good in one room can fall apart in another.
ARC allows you to identify and correct these problems without costly acoustic treatment of the room. ARC accurately measures the sound of your room and creates an equalization profile that is loaded into the ARC plug-in for DAW. Then you will hear how your music actually sounds.
You will notice that the mixing becomes less energy-intensive, and the results sound much better on the other speakers.
New listening experience – ARC 3 uses innovative analysis and correction algorithms. They provide results that cannot be achieved with other digital correction systems. The award-winning Volumetric Response Modeling (VRM ™) technology creates a 3D image of a room at the listening position. The resulting image is then used to identify and fix acoustic problems with a minimum amount of processing.
The result is an incredibly natural correction. ARC 3 recreates the feeling of working in a well-tuned room, while the correction remains invisible.
Measure quickly and accurately – Simply connect your microphone to the interface and launch the guided setup software. You will take a series of measurements at the listening point; ARC’s flexible microphone placement allows you to do this in less than 10 minutes.
You can take measurements on multiple speaker pairs and listening points to provide a virtual setup for a single listening point for clients or if you want multiple setup options.
Choose Your Microphone – The ARC 3 system comes with a professional micro-electromechanical (MEMS) microphone designed for the most accurate acoustic measurements. However, you can use any conventional measurement microphone and even upload your own calibration file to improve accuracy.
Applying Adjustments Instantly – After creating the profiles, fire up your DAW and insert the ARC 3 plug-in into the master bus. ARC will apply a correction profile to compensate for room acoustic imperfections with the utmost precision.
Now you can hear music without being affected by room acoustics. You can be sure that you hear everything exactly as it was recorded; your work will be transferred to different rooms and rooms much more accurately than before.
