The setup varies slightly for each DAW, but the basics are almost always the same:
1. Create a new MIDI channel in your DAW.
2. Insert a long MIDI note into this channel, usually corresponding to the key of your track. 3. Add Rhythmizer Ultra as a plugin to this channel. Rhythmizer converts the original MIDI note into an endless stream of randomized MIDI notes.
To use them in your project:
1. Open another channel and load your preferred synth or sampler.
2. Use your DAW’s MIDI routing options to route the randomized MIDI output from Rhythmizer to that synthesizer or sampler. This will allow Rhythmizer’s randomized MIDI sequence to control your synthesizer or sampler.
