Description: Rwanda is a beautiful East African country with a rich cultural and musical history that Splice was lucky enough to get to know briefly. We visited the Land of a Thousand Hills with a handheld recorder capturing a wide variety of unique sounds, giving nibbles of the Rwandan cultural landscape through sound. This set includes sounds from the environment of the Musanze area in the Virunga Ridge, traditional drum and dance performances, voice recordings and conversations, animal sounds recorded on safari in Akagera National Park, Kigali ambient noise recordings and much more.
