Recorded with the extremely talented Joni Fuller, each string instrument has been multi-sampled to 3 octaves with multiple velocity layers, looping algorithms and 8 different articulations. All recordings were made in a very tight room using the same settings as string recordings from our popular Unstrung library .

Each articulation is executed very aggressively, with tension and terror in mind, leaving beautiful imperfections to give you a very realistic and raw sound.
To add more expressiveness, we used an additional 3-octave set of noisy, squeaky, stunningly terrifying notes for each of the 3 articulations: spiccatissimo, spiccato and staccato. The remaining articulations can also enhance any of these additional aggressive layers to provide harder attacks and unique sound combinations.

Possibilities :
• More than 17,000 samples
• 8 articulations: spiccatissimo, spiccato, staccato, pizzicato, Bartok pizzicato and 3 marcato of different lengths
• Aggression level: a set of samples with increased noise level for each of the 3 articulations: spiccatissimo, spiccato, staccato
• Possibility of overlaying your chosen ones aggressive samples to any non-aggressive articulations
• Room selection for roll-up reverb and output control
• Decay control
• Saturation control
• Compression control
• Switching articulations using keys
