DaVinci Resolve 17 App Store Limitations
The Mac App Store version of DaVinci Resolve 17 Studio only works with Metal and OpenCL, does not support some external control panels, and may not be compatible with all third-party OpenFX or VST plugins. If you need these features, please purchase a DaVinci Resolve Studio license from a Blackmagic Design reseller and download the latest version of DaVinci Resolve Studio from the Blackmagic Design support website.

1. Install DaVinci Resolve Studio 17.4.6 and don’t run it…if you did, it’s okay. Just close (cmd+Q).
