CyberLink has removed offline codec activation, optional h.265 output features, so you need to allow internet connections. Codec activation will be performed automatically with a patched installation.
If you are offline or blocked by firewall or host(s), unblock them. Delete in hosts file if any

Uninstall previous versions. Clean up leftover registry and user files (details in Instructions.txt file)
1. Install CyberLink PowerDirector Ultimate. After the installation is completed, do not run!
2. Run Reg Patch.reg and agree to the changes.
3. To activate codecs, import MKV or MP4, click the “Export” button, select h.265 or any other codec you want, and you’re done.
