Description :
V-Ray is the only renderer that does it all.
Bold projects. Touching stories. Stunning art.
Whatever your vision, V-Ray will help you bring it to life. Create photorealistic images and animations with the rendering software used by 3D artists and designers worldwide.

V-Ray works seamlessly with 3ds Max, Cinema 4D, Houdini, Maya, Nuke, Revit, Rhino, SketchUp, and Unreal, so you can turn 3D scenes into works of art from your favorite application.

V-Ray differs from other rendering solutions in that it includes both CPU and hybrid GPU+CPU rendering capabilities. V-Ray uses adaptive ray tracing technology and its own scene intelligence to create photorealistic images and animations. It accurately calculates light distribution and the physical properties of any material.

V-Ray v7 – Create 3D environments faster than ever with innovative features, seamless cloud collaboration, and precise shading.
Explore immersive virtual tours directly within the V-Ray interface—no third-party applications required.
Illuminate your scenes with new lighting tools and experience improved GPU rendering with access to the expanded Cosmos asset library. And much more!

What’s new:
Innovations at the core of visualization.
Gaussian blur support
. Easily integrate buildings into natural environments or create and render complex 3D environments with precise reflections and refractions thanks to the addition of revolutionary Gaussian blur support. Enrich your scenes with highly detailed, memory-efficient blurs of real-world environments or objects, delivering stunning detail without overloading system resources.
Cloud Collaboration:
Streamline client reviews and speed up approvals with new collaboration tools in Chaos Cloud. Upload images directly from VFB, share them with clients, and collect feedback seamlessly using markup and comments. Create an unlimited number of projects, easily manage sharing permissions, and let Cloud manage image versions throughout the workflow, making final delivery to clients seamless.
Virtual Tours
: Create immersive, panoramic virtual tours and take your presentations to the next level with Chaos Cloud—no third-party tools required. Setting up a virtual tour is quick and easy, allowing clients to explore the scene or even embed the tour on their websites. Customize your tours by adding floor plans, personalizing hotspots and transitions, and adding contextual details and design elements.
Seamless data flow between applications.
OpenPBR support
. Achieve consistent shading across applications with the new OpenPBR standard. V-Ray Material now includes an OpenPBR mode, allowing you to seamlessly import and use materials created using the OpenPBR standard within V-Ray. This feature improves production efficiency by reducing the need for manual adjustments when switching between compatible renderers and applications.
Light your scenes with precision.
V-Ray Luminaires.
Enjoy significantly faster and more accurate rendering of complex lighting fixtures with the new support for V-Ray Luminaires. Instantly enhance the atmosphere of your projects and speed up rendering using lighting assets available in our ever-growing Chaos Cosmos library.
Even better: V-Ray Sun & Sky.
Enhance the realism of your still images and animations with the updated PRG sky model, which now supports nautical twilight. Render skies at various observer altitudes, extending up to several kilometers, and fine-tune turbidity levels for greater precision and control in your scenes.
Enhanced GPU rendering.
Support for caustics and the Caustics renderer.
V-Ray GPU now supports Caustics, delivering realistic reflections and refractions in both production and interactive rendering. Thanks to the new Photon Mapping-based Caustics solver, optimized for GPU hardware, it achieves significantly faster results compared to CPU rendering. Additionally, the new Caustics renderer provides expanded control for fine-tuning in post-production.
Faster Time to First Pixel:
Experience even better interactive and final rendering with faster time to first pixel thanks to optimizations for scatter rendering and texture-intensive scenes. Loading scene data to the GPU and geometry compilation are also optimized for speed.
Out-of-Core Textures:
Rendering scenes with a large number of textures is now much more memory efficient. Using system memory for textures significantly reduces GPU memory usage with a slight performance impact. This is the new implementation of Out-of-Core Textures. Add incredible detail to your scenes without sacrificing shading quality.
Bring your projects to life faster.
Cosmos asset variant support
. Explore the Chaos Cosmos library and find the perfect asset variant for your scene. Many 3D foliage assets now offer seasonal variants, such as summer or autumn leaves. More variants are coming soon, including growth stages and additional asset types, such as people.
Faster export of scenes with large amounts of scatter objects.
Save time with faster export of scenes with large amounts of scatter when sending to Chaos Cloud or V-Ray render farms. The new V-Ray Standalone Scatter Plugin exports only scatter settings, reducing the .vrscene file size and speeding up export.
Trim edges:
Trim edges and gain greater control over scattered areas. Scattered elements now fit perfectly within the specified boundaries, making it easier to fill any precisely defined area.
More creative control in VFB.
Custom-Shaped Render Regions.
Refine and render specific parts of your scene by defining custom-shaped regions in VFB without unnecessary re-rendering. Create multiple regions of any shape and focus on the areas you want to fine-tune.
Vignette Layer:
Easily apply a camera vignette effect to your renders with the new, highly flexible Vignette Layer in VFB. Customize its shape and apply it to any element of your render for precise, customized results.
Color Grading Presets:
Quickly explore different looks for your renders with the new color grading presets in VFB. Once you’ve chosen the mood/style you’re looking for, you can easily customize the selected preset to perfectly match your creative vision.
Firefly Removal:
A new algorithm automatically detects and removes overly bright pixels, known as fireflies, during rendering. It works seamlessly, reducing the time needed to create final images—all it takes is one click. It also improves overall rendering speed.
