What is FilterShaper XL?
FilterShaper XL takes a giant leap in unconventional sound design with two powerful filters, a multi-stage drive, and an extremely flexible modulation structure.
Transform synths into twisted mutations that burst out of the speakers. Transform bass lines into churning, pulsating patterns. Transform drums into exciting filtered rhythms and bizarre modular-style effects. Go from subtle nuances and precise settings to powerful sweeps, stepped resonances, and giant oscillations.
Stunningly Analog
It all starts with a pair of powerful Cableguys filters. Go from classic vintage warmth to audio velocity modulation and screaming self-oscillations – all with a surprisingly analog sound.
Mass Modulation
Then set in motion two combinable LFOs and an envelope follower for each modulated parameter. Dedicated LFOs for rate and amount enable incredible, evolving, complex interactions.
Endless Flexibility
Create any filter movement you can imagine with our simple LFO drawing tools. Draw curves, steps, ramps – any shape – in seconds, breathing new rhythmic life into your tracks. Changes
