Description: Lyrical and expressive solo instruments for Kontakt
Solo contains an extensive collection of lyrical and expressive orchestral solos under one roof: violin, viola, cello, trumpet, horn, treble horn, flute, clarinet, oboe, English horn, bassoon, angelic soprano and operatic soprano. Solo is an incredibly expansive collection of powerful sound that will expand the level of emotion and expression in your music with little or no tweaks.
We recorded two types of legato for each instrument: Rebowed and Slurred for strings, Fingered and Retongued for woodwind and brass, Aah and Ooh for soprano. You can even switch between the two legato types without using key switches using velocities or CC.
We only recorded one dynamic layer per legato articulation, which is actually better for solo instruments. The fewer crossfades you do, the less phasing artifacts you get. This unique dynamic layer contains all the musicality and emotion you’ll ever need. Recipe: Light crescendo diminuendo and some vibrato and voila.
High quality standards are at the core of everything we do. All of our sample libraries are meticulously crafted and each sample is treated like a jewel: carefully polished to reveal their full brilliance. This ensures smooth music playback. Carefully synchronized sample launches ensure your performances are never out of sync while ensuring maximum realism.
