Description : The true power of the audio war, Grind strikes. From subtle tube saturation to full wavy distortion, Grind is a Swiss army knife of sound design.
Grind consists of three main blocks: wavetable, algorithmic saturation / distortion / and multi-mode filter. The wavetable module uses the amplitude of the incoming signal to replace the sample with one of 15 different linearly interpolated waveforms selected for potential manipulation. The size and control of the phases provide additional tone shaping capabilities.
The next stop is an algorithmic module with eleven different distortion and saturation algorithms from simple saturation to full bend.
After that, the signal passes through a multi-mode filter. Eleven different filter models to choose from, including the “vintage digital” versions, right up to our modern low-pass analog MS20 models and high-resolution filters. A tempo-synchronized LFO provides filter frequency movement.
Make no mistake: this is not a subtle, correct tool. With careful setup of preset presets, it can be adapted to normal filtration and saturating functions, but in general it is a noisy, snorting beast with sound destruction.

New in version:

1. Rebuilt with all current SDKs. Removed macOS 32-bit, and made the lowest macOS version 10.9
2. Merged iOS code with desktop versions, removing the iOS fork.
3. Redesigned GUI for common styling between iOS and desktop versions. Changed to HiDpi / Retina compatible, replaceable.
4. Baked factory presets folder. New user presets folder.
5. Replaced the current dropdown menu.
PLEASE NOTE BREAKING CHANGE IN 110: It was not correct when the sessions were reloaded. But we had to work around it. So, if you’ve been up for a session, you’ll be able to set it up for 4PLP. It’s not a messy way up existing saves.
