Thanks for this opportunity to hear what’s out on the market…… I know there’s a “Tuba and French Horn” Kontakt library from over a decade ago, but a dedicated French Horn resource I’d no idea was ever produced. Strictly on the basis of a “purist” approach, I wonder why there’s such a market for (often heavily) processed samples……. kinda paints one into a corner if the library they’ve bought is processed TOO heavily or in ways that the purchaser has little use for.
Regardless, two go-to tones I use for a “base” is French Horn and also electric piano notes……. very smooth and focused in frequency spectrum, you get miles of “headroom” in which to process. Do appreciate this sample set.
You ever consider a forum for this site? I’ve run into quite a lot of dead-end links where the linked url comes up but instead of a countdown or pop-up, the destination link brings up a “Anonymous proxy detected…….” page. While I do use NoScript, I pretty much always grant permission to pages linked within your site but still, links seem to be dead-ends.
