With version 5, we’ve taken the Scarlet set to the next level. We’ve included new features that improve its accuracy and combined them with our advanced Hyper technology. Most importantly, we are introducing a brand new version of Scarlet 5 Classic (replacing the previous one) which has been completely re-sampled to give you the most modern instrument to ensure the highest quality in your master.
With the Scarlet 5 plugin suite, magnitude and phase have achieved exceptional levels of precision with very low distortion, making it ideal for adding extra sparkle to your mastering projects.
The Scarlet 5 Classic truly excels at capturing the nuances of highs and lows, easily boosting the upper and lower registers without any weird phase shifts. The EQ curves and interactivity are top notch, and are now even closer to the original hardware thanks to a complete resampling of what is considered the “gold standard” in mastering EQs.
There is no doubt that the Scarlet 5 kit greatly improves the bass experience. The depth of the low frequencies is exceptional, resulting in smooth and crystal clear high frequency reproduction.
The equalizers included in the Scarlet 5 set have their own, pleasant sound, while maintaining a high level of transparency that exceeds the standard characteristics of “digital” equalizers that are entrusted with similar tasks.
