Description: DeFilter is an effective tool for smoothing out tonal imbalances in a mix or reducing resonance peaks or dips in the frequency spectrum. Even serious problems such as comb filter effects or standing waves from unequipped rooms can be solved. DeFilter can match recordings to target profiles such as music or speech, or alternatively extract the overall timbre from the source. Effectively removes resonances and comb filter effects while preserving the tonal character of the input signal. The entries can also be aligned to match the reference.
Great care has been taken in providing a user interface that is easy to use. Frequency-dependent correction levels can be defined using custom curves, so the DeFilter can focus on problem frequency ranges while leaving other frequency regions unchanged. Real-time spectrum analyzers for input and output signals visualize the effect on the frequency spectrum.

Use cases:
Fix problems in the mix before mastering.
Reduce resonances caused by un-tuned room acoustics.
Matched equalization (automatic corrections based on the reference signal).
Improving the clarity and intelligibility of speech.
Instant fix for unpleasant comb filter effects.
