For whatever reason, BFD’s interface and methodology haven’t clicked with me…….. Battery as the librarian happens to have become personal choice, although I do hope they slip in some intrinsic form of sequencing into the next version……. however, the name “Ken Scott” attached to any product speaks huge volumes. The number of albums, especially throughout the 1970’s, and their absolute perfection, where you’ll find Ken Scott’s name is immense. David Bowie’s “Aladdin Sane” album is a perfect example of Scott’s production mastery.
Anyway, thanks to Admin for creating one of the best resources for knowing what’s trending, even possible to do, and that even exists for music production.

As William H. Macy said in “Fargo” when he realized there was no way out of some glitch in his plan, “Ah what the Christ???”, I’ll continue here…… in the description are the names of a few drummers that may be missed by many aspiring producers and.or drummers……… I do mean “young” people 🙂 As the speed at which anybody could produce an entire album in a day came about, the sages of the music world faded in recognition. These are true pioneers, some of whom I’ve interviewed for my early 80’s FM radio shows focused on rhythms and percussionists.
Take the next step from “heard of ’em” to “listened to ’em”. YouTube certainly has this stuff on hand.
    — Billy Cobham: beyond words, but be assured when this man appeared in the birth of fusion of rock and jazz, it was an instant revolution in music. The “Birds of Fire” album of “Mahavishnu Orchestra” will amaze.
    — Rod Morgenstein: find any material of the 80’s phenomenon “Dixie Dregs”…… and btw, Rod revealed in interview that Mahavishnu Orchestra was a big inspiration to the Dregs. They fused rock, jazz, bluegrass, classical, and country into one incredible achievement.
    — Terry Bozzio: that Terry was a member of Frank Zappa’s band (should, for sure) says enough. Zappa’s “Baby Snakes” movie/concert spotlights Terry. He was also a member of U.K. (“Nothing to Lose”), but he truly scorched as Jeff Beck’s drummer…… saw him live; Terry’s drums were also fitted with MIDI triggers playing a drum “brain” unit; “spectacular” is the short of it.
Unfamiliar with the others mentioned but checking them out.
