Description: MotionBuilder 2026 is a new version of a character animation tool typically used for viewing and editing motion capture data. The main changes in version 2026 focus on the USD workflow, first introduced in last year’s version 2025. Animations are now preserved and displayed correctly when loading USD files, and new Python API functions allow you to modify motion timing parameters. A button for reloading the USD proxy has been added to the interface, speeding up work with animation scenes. User interface improvements include a new hotkey for selecting previously inaccessible objects, support for additional function keys (starting with F13) as modifiers, and new settings for exporting HUD elements to FBX files. Some API properties have been renamed for clarity.
