Description: Ambient clavinet sounds, shaped into various shapes and arranged into a large collection of textured movements. This is a custom KONTAKT library that takes a different approach to clavinet. The library offers a wide variety of samples, ranging from ghostly drones to shimmering wildflies. Many patches include an anarchy of sonic variations, allowing you to mix and match more expressive and dynamic performances. The sampled instrument resembles a massive guitar with 60 long guitar strings. It has many of the features of an electric guitar, it’s just that the keyboard’s tapping mechanism tends to hinder greater control over the strings. The strings were set in motion using external objects. For example, bow hair, e-bow, spinning small fan, electric toothbrush, needles, etc. Made using Hohner Clavinets D6 and E7 as the main instruments, in addition to hardware effects, bows, a variety of amplifiers to create a multi-layered and rich sound.
Deep and colorful sustained sounds thanks to different and unusual processing. Taking inspiration from the sounds and tricks of bowed guitars, long string humbuckers produce a rich sound that is ideal for creating rich soundscapes. Something like an “ambient guitar”, but with a darker timbre.
CONTROLS
Sliders allow you to blend together the different mixes and set the volume levels to your likings. There are up to 5 mixes to choose from, each one intended to provide a different sound and allow flexibility.
The [FX] button reveals and engages various sound sculpting options. Sculpt the sounds with a XY pad controlling the effect engine housed inside of Kontakt.
