Installing the MotionBro script and panel:

If you’ve previously installed projects with MotionBro 2.2.2… and everything worked for you…
then skip to step 4!!! So let’s get started:

    1. Go to: Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\CEP\extensions\ – check… if you have an older version of MotionBro installed, you need to DELETE THE ENTIRE OLD FOLDER
    1. Copy the MotionBro 2.2.2 folder to Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\CEP\extensions\
    1. Open AE… Check… If MotionBro doesn’t appear in the Extensions menu and can’t be clicked, use AE2018.reg for AE CC2018 or AE2019.reg for AE CC2019 from the Win-Mac Registry folder if the AE version is lower. For CC2018, use the AE.reg file…
      If all else fails and the panel isn’t responding, then we’ll have to start fiddling around with the keys manually… to do this, follow these steps:
  • A. Open the Registry Editor;
  • B. Find this key:
    For CC 2014: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\CSXS.5
    For CC 2015: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\CSXS.6
    For CC 2017: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\CSXS.7
  • C. Right-click: New – String Value. For the name, select PlayerDebugMode (no spaces), and in the Value column, enter 1.
  • D. Close the registry!

    1. Add the library: On the MotionBro panel, click the “folder” icon… then click the “down arrow” icon… then enter the path to the HST V6 file located in the 02_PRESETS folder!
    1. If it asks for a key or email… enter any value…
    1. If you did everything correctly and everything works for you (like me)… then clap your hands and rejoice in your luck…
