Description: The UVS-3200 brings you rare and extremely warm sounds from a complex and stunning piece of synthesizer history, the KORG PS-3200, beautifully restored and deeply sampled in all its vintage analog glory. This Japanese beauty, released in very limited numbers in the late 70s, had a semi-modular 48-voice polyphonic engine. Each voice was equipped with two VCOs, each with its own VCF and LFO. The PS-3200 also has a remarkable 16 memory locations (fantastic convenience at the time). Settings can be saved and recalled at any time using the front panel or optional remote control. This synthesizer also featured a unique keyboard controller with a scalable CV joystick for fun and dynamic performance.
Due to the sheer number of PS-3200 components and the age of these machines, they are extremely expensive to own and repair, and increasingly difficult to find. Luckily, we got our hands on a flawless instrument and, after thorough testing and fine tuning, handed it over to our sound engineering team to push it to the limit, documenting the very best it has to offer.
