Description : EZDrummer is a virtual drum sampler that is especially popular among musicians as well as among professional sound engineers and producers. This VSTi tool allows you to achieve “liveliness” of the drum part, simulating the game of a real person.
A pleasant sound will surprise many music creators, as the sound is very close to the sound of real drums, and the program interface is very clear, which will allow you to create and edit virtual drums. EZDrummer is a great VST plugin with its libraries, which is perfect for Cubase 5.1 audio editor. The program also has built-in templates in MIDI format, which are created drum riffs, as well as various beatings that can be added to your track by simply dragging them to the desired track. In this way, you can create a song completely consisting of midi pieces, which will give the effect of clearly and evenly played drums, but you can use the humanizer function to simulate the emotions of a drummer.
The program allows you to assemble a drum kit from various elements, each of which can be spread out in a panorama, transferred to a separate track, for example, the bass drum and the worker will be separate tracks, then apply the desired effect to each audio track, for example, saturation, compressor, distortion.
When creating samples, all the rules for recording drums were observed, each element of the drum kit was recorded with a separate microphone in a recording studio in New York. When editing your track, you can adjust the sound, creating the effect of moving the microphone farther / closer to the drum / cymbal, and make the reverb effect by choosing the room in which the drums supposedly sound. In general, EZdrummer is a professional tool for recording and editing virtual drums.
Not working it is missing all its presets
Like Kozi said, it doesn’t work right. Midi Database Error – which removes a TON of functionality. Avoid!
This worked fine. I haven’t seen a MIDI database error; doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist but as far as kit libraries, all went fine. In fact, I installed 2.18 over a 2.0 updated to 2.16…… if anything about MIDI database error exists, it might be the hierarchy structure in the browser? Styles aren’t listed as I’d expect but THAT is only when using the 3rd party Cuban Latin Percussion library which, by the way, is awesome but as said, its hierarchy is sketchy. The hierarchy under the native EZX Latin Percussion is as designed.
Not like I know the MIDI browser anyway. I have a [drive]:\Samples\Drums\Toontrack structure….. every file in there is proprietary. It all ends up being ear candy anyway…… if only they made a vaccine for severe ADHD…… 🙂
