Description : A year ago I was working on my first score for the film of the British comedy of horrors called “Snarling”. The soundtrack was recently completed for release, so I thought it would also be interesting to publish the synthetic sounds that I developed. Snarling contains synthetic patches for 100 pieces for Zebra2 and ZebraHZ and 50 pieces for Massive, total 250 patches.
These patches were designed to create a drive, kinetic thrills, as well as ethereal, atmospheric horror. Both dynamic and creepy, The Snarling is filled with influenced bass, organic sequencers, gloomy pads and soundscapes.
The sounds for Massive are sharper, which allows them to literally cut through the mix, while the bank for Zebra brings a beautiful, analog, organic sound. All these sounds were designed to complement the prevailing string and percussion soundtracks, adding a very useful mixture of cutting-edge sounds and a complex, but subtle, spiritistic atmosphere.
