Description : The Steinberg WaveLab universal audio editor is a powerful tool for professional editing, audio file recovery, and high-resolution audio editing. The software has a wide range of users – from amateurs to recording professionals and is distinguished by the highest sound quality. The editor works under 64-bit Windows operating systems with standard MIDI controllers such as Steinberg CI, CMC, CC121.
In terms of its functionality, WaveLab surpasses many audio processing programs. The editor provides fast conversion of audio files due to batch processing, creation of backup copies and formation of playlists, development of author’s projects for Audio CD and DVD, as well as a unique opportunity to add sound effects to an audio file right at the time of its playback.
The open architecture of the program allows users to add new useful features to it.
Changes
The 11.1 update introduces Steinberg Licensing to the WaveLab family of products, a new licensing system independent from the eLicenser technology.
With Steinberg Licensing, the USB eLicenser is no longer required to run WaveLab Pro.
New Features in Version 11.1.0:
Highlights
Error Correction Improved
The error correction functionality has been improved. See Error Correction.
More New Features
Updated Digital Signal Processing Algorithm for Time Stretching
The Digital Signal Processing (DSP) algorithm for time stretching has been updated. This also affects playback speed, pitch shift, and pitch bend.
Resized Clip Indicator
When a clip has been resized, this is now indicated by a small triangle in the top left/right corner of a clip. This allows you to quickly see whether a clip has been resized. The indicator also displays the remaining audio length before/after the clip. See Clip Resizing.
Showing/Hiding the Gain Pane in the Inspector Window
You can show or hide the Gain pane in the Inspector window to focus on the panes that you need. See Showing/Hiding Panes in the Inspector Window.
Switching Audio Montage Effects On/Off
You can now activate/deactivate audio montage effects in the plug-in window or when you right-click a plug-in in the Montage Effects pane in the Inspector window. See Plug-in Windows for Audio Montages.
Setting Markers for Individual Channels
You can now set markers for individual channels. See Creating Markers.
Ignore Updated Plug-ins When Performing Plug-in Detection
You can now instruct WaveLab Pro to ignore the properties of plug-ins that have been updated. If you have plug-ins that are updated often, this option speeds up the WaveLab Pro startup.
