Description : Warm vintage pianos of a certain analogue adorn the wallpaper of our memories, filling us with a nostalgic radiance, which is often searched for, but rarely caught. Analog jazz keyboards, in particular, have ignited the fire of sample-based genres, from hip-hop to house, until it is named. We recruited Aron Magner and his keys to take us to this place of memory. Magner is a jazz keyboard player, one of the founders of Disco Biscuits and the creator of the Camp Bisco music festival, which is a frequent destination. More importantly, Magner is fine with his fingers. He showed us what is in the classic style of pop, disco and jazz, with some of our favorite vintage keys and some surprises, including its synthesizer: Access Virus TI2. He also recorded melodies, bass parts and chords on the Moog Model D, Prophet T8, Wurlitzer 200A, Clavinet D6, Juno 60, Rhodes mark 1 and Korg Poly 61. The drums were made by the rare Gibson Maestro and Acetone FR1 drum machines. We recorded Magner performance with the Neve 1081 and 1073 preamps and external effects.
