Description: Trilony equalizers Standard, Live, Master.
Gullfoss is an intelligent automatic equalizer that uses Soundtheory’s unique sound perception technology to identify and correct problems in the frequency balance of your signal. By adjusting its settings in real time to match the sonic characteristics of the input signal, Gullfoss allows you to quickly and accurately correct problems that would otherwise be intractable or require a lot of time and expertise to resolve. Gullfoss is an easy to use tool for everyone from the amateur musician to the professional mastering engineer. Its clean user interface offers a set of basic settings that can be adjusted to improve the clarity, detail, spaciousness and balance of a mix or recording in seconds. Gullfoss is even capable of fixing balancing issues between different audio elements without access to individual tracks. The internal auditory model allows Gullfoss to make objective decisions about perceived sound. As a result, mixes processed with Gullfoss will typically translate more consistently between different listening situations. Equipped with new patented EQ technology, Gullfoss processes sound with unsurpassed audio quality. The equalizer is capable of changing the frequency response over 100 times per second without introducing audible artifacts or degrading the signal quality. Together with Soundtheory’s highly advanced computer-aided hearing model, Gullfoss is the first and only product of its kind.

All three versions of Gullfoss have the same handling but have been slightly modified to better suit different situations. The Gullfoss Standard is the most versatile device that achieves accuracy through CPU usage, while the new Gulflfoss Master places higher demands on your computer’s resources, but uses an “extended auditory model” tuned for mastering, and also provides the user with a more accurate control permission. At the same time, the Live version of Gullfoss uses fewer transients and thus can operate with a lower latency of 2ms (compared to 20ms in other versions).
