Description : An innovative, award-winning Phase Interactions Mixer in plug-in format for Mac and PC. The plugin is designed to improve the summation of your sequencer and mixer. Pi dynamically reduces the mutual subtraction of frequencies between instruments within a mix, improves mono compatibility and returns the lost depth and focus as a result of frequency conflicts. A good phase relationship between tracks in a mixer is the basis of a great sounding mix. As a rule, when summing mixer channels into one stereo mix bus, the instruments intersect and interact with each other over the entire frequency range and phase position. Often, a bass track may temporarily be out of phase with a kick or rhythm guitar, and when summed into a mix, it will subtract them from each other, in the frequency range where they intersect, which in turn leads to the temporary formation of a β€œhole” in the low-frequency spectrum. Similarly, a snare drum may ultimately sound flat in a mix if the volumes resonate with it out of phase. Designed to improve any mix, Pi dynamically rotates the phase of the individual channels in the mixer to ensure maximum phase correlation within the mix. The plugin minimizes negative interactions and significantly improves the overall sound of the mix. Just put Pi in the last insert slot of the mixer channels and listen. Use any of the 64 groups to bundle channels of instruments to further improve your mix.
