Description:
Bringing majestic melodies to your compositions
Ever since we began our phrasing odyssey, there’s something we’ve been dying to capture: Slow and majestic string melodies, woodwind chord ensembles, and flowing horn lines have been on our wish list for years. Now we present “Largo”, where we have finally created a set of performances that are typical of classic and historical films. The emphasis here is on strong thematic writing with smooth yet dramatic transitions between notes.
In musical terminology, “Largo” literally means “slow,” and we took that at face value, asking our orchestra to perform at a stately tempo of 75 BPM. This does not mean that these phrases can only be used for dark works, since the engine adjusts the playback of the phrase to any speed of the project. With Largo, we always kept versatility in mind. This means that legato, portamento, staccato and staccatissimo styles were captured, as well as harmonics, glissando and many other techniques that cannot be realistically reproduced using traditional multi-sampled orchestral libraries. Largo covers many bases with cleanly captured renditions available in all root notes.
In the folder, you must rename the file “Largo.nicnt” to “SonokineticLargo.nicnt” so that Kontakt recognizes the library. Otherwise, it does not work.
