New hair shaders in LightWave 2020 provide more realistic hair using a physically based renderer. The Principal Hair material is based on the Principal BSDF settings. Five inputs: color, cuticle slope, roughness, radial roughness, and refractive index provide a simple interface for producing impressive results. In the AFC (Artist Friendly Control) hair shader, the reflection settings are divided into two parts.
