INSIDE THE TOYBOX
KINETIC TOYS offers dynamic playback of 200+ recordings of vintage children’s toys and instruments, each with its own synth layer to create reproducible tones. They are then superimposed and processed using a dynamic X-Y modulation system. The result is a clean, evocative and distinctive sound, perfect for prominent leads or whimsical rhythmic effects and atmospheres.
Sounds range from a kinetic toy of clockwork robots, railways, to arcade machines and popcorn. The library contains 35 themed sound sets, each containing eight dynamically mixed toy and synth sounds and controlled by four effects. Both sound types and effects can be assigned manually and are ready for modulation and morphing.
BALLET STUDIO
The centerpiece of KINETIC TOYS are two X-Y controllers for modulating soundstages and effect scenes. The ballerina controls the soundstages. As she dances, the sounds are converted between eight toy sounds and eight synth layers. Its movement can be reproduced manually and automatically.
ROBOT DANCING
The robot works exactly like a ballerina, modulating up to eight effects processors. Individual effects are designed for each theme and are divided into four categories: resonant effects (EQ and filters), spatial processors (eg delays), bitcrushers and distortions, modulation tools. There are also four assignable modulation sources: two envelopes and two lfos.
