Description: Vocal libraryAtelier Series: Amber, performed by Amber Ballzglier, is the first true three-track legato vocal library of its kind. This means that we recorded the performance three times (for each vowel) and layered these recordings on top of each other. This way, subtle inconsistencies in speed and pitch between each vocal take can be slightly different, resulting in a performance/sound that is somewhere between a solo vocal and a choir.
The library was originally intended for pop music, but we quickly realized that it is also ideal for film, dance music, and other popular genres.
In addition to the natural 3 Ensemble Legato patches, we have created the artificial 9 Ensemble Legato patches – massive lead instruments designed for epic/dramatic passages. On all legato patches, if you use a velocity value of 100 or higher, a consonant attack will be triggered: Lah for Ah, Woh for Oh, and Doo for Ooo. The library also includes Awakenings, a seven-pad keyswitch set based on vocal recordings.
