Description : In June 2019, over 9,400 audio files from Mike Shinoda’s library of samples and sounds surfaced online after his Open Labs SoundSlate Pro computer was purchased from the Techno Empire Reverb Shop. The material spanned from The Hunting Party sessions all the way to the early days of Xero and Hybrid Theory, with many of the files accompanied by project documents and a host of unreleased tracks.
Mike Shinoda is an American musician, producer and artist, co-founder of the rock band Linkin Park (vocals, guitar, keys, production). The author of hits like “In the End” and “Numb”, he became the voice of a generation, mixing alternative rock, electronica and hip-hop. He also created a solo project Fort Minor, released a personal album Post Traumatic (2018) and writes soundtracks (for example, for the film The Raid: Redemption).
His style is experiments with sampling (MPC), emotional lyrics and cross-genre collaborations. In addition to music, he is engaged in painting and design, maintaining a connection with his Japanese roots.
