Description: Much of Howard’s sound comes from the dynamic chain interface in the form of compression and EQ. Depending on your vocal style, you can maintain clarity and control over the sound, or warm it up with the tube’s saturation and grain controls. Its semi-parametric EQ gives you the ability to paint with broad sonic strokes before moving on to the spatial section. Spatially, Howard Benson Vocals includes both a multiplier and a spatial expander for 3D control. Double your vocals for lush harmonic density, and adjust the width of the vocals so they dictate presence in the mix. Finally, no vocal production would be complete without time effects. Using the Echo and Space modules in the plugin, producers can adjust the space around their voice for complete continuity in the mix. Finish everything off with a final output step (including a limiter) and you have all the ingredients for a professional vocal mix.
