Description : AVA De-Esser is the latest software implementation of Harrison’s famous De-Esser algorithm, used in state-of-the-art post-processing equipment around the world. Now, in the fourth generation, the Harrison De-Esser algorithm is constantly in demand by our customers in elite studios around the world.
Harrison’s reputation as True Analog In-The-Box was won thanks to our unique legacy, where we first created an analog console processor, and then converted this processor to digital, while retaining the sound and character of the original analog system.
AVA De-Esser implements the 4th generation Harrison de-esser algorithm for detecting and eliminating sharp sibilance in real time.
Characteristic
Intelligent algorithm operates on harsh sibilance while ignoring other fricatives.
Band Solos and Auto-Solo feature helps to set the dial-in frequency of the frequency range.
Capable of up to 12dB reduction in sibilance.
 Adjustable thresholds & depths.
Fast and easy-to-use interface with 6 control dimensions.
Zero-latency processing, suitable for “live” use.
Gain-reduction meter appears on the ProTools mixer strip. (AAX format only).
The results are quintessentially Harrison: effortless, smooth and transparent.
