The SESSION KEYS Electric R is based on a 1976 vintage Mark I stage piano, specially modified with eight separate outputs to capture all the nuances of classic sound.
Electric R offers excellent customization options. Details such as sustain resonance, keyboard noise, release and reversed samples can be changed quickly and easily. The Electric R even lets you virtually adjust the spacing between teeth and pick-ups, as well as control the number of microphones.
In addition to recording electrical output signals, extensive microphone tuning was used to capture the instrument’s clear, unchanging acoustic sound.
The FX Electric R section includes classic electric piano effects such as Tremolo, Chorus, Amp Simulation, Delay, and Reverb. Electric R’s tonal terrain offers everything from soft soundscapes to barking riffs, and you can even instantly switch between two different sample sets: Studio and Live.
Studio was recorded directly through high quality preamps and A / D converters, reproducing the clear bell-shaped character of the piano.
Live uses classic vintage hardware and preamps to create a sharper, rougher version of the instrument.
The stylish Pentamorph can give the classic stage piano a sophisticated new voice in seconds with a single control: select one of the five main characteristics or any position in between. Conversion from pure acoustic through electrical to reverse in real time.
