Description:
DxO FilmPack is another photo editor with the largest database of unique filters and effects for your photos. The program contains a variety of photo effects that are used by the most popular and famous photographers of our time.
Don’t expect a huge range of tools from DxO FilmPack. This editor is designed for quick editing of photos and snapshots. Once you open the program, you can easily apply any of the provided effects or filters. Filters and effects will allow you to achieve the desired look of a photo, as well as change its color scheme and show the brightest parts of the photo.
What’s new in DxO FilmPack 7:
The FilmPack 7 update is designed for photographers who still love “the magic of film,” as the company calls it. These changes build on nearly two decades of research and digitization of classic motion pictures to keep them fresh and relevant in the digital age.
Version 7 of DxO’s FilmPack adds brightness masking to give users more control over fine-tuning the exposure, color and contrast of their images, allowing them to target specific areas of the image for precise changes. This even includes adding warmth to the highlights.
In addition to this, version 7 adds an updated Time Machine mode, which features a large collection of iconic photographs spanning nearly two centuries, including images of some of history’s greatest photographers and their favorite film studios. With this tool, users can experience historical styles in the context of an image and apply them to their photos. The update includes 22 new historical images and events, as well as 26 new presets, for a total of 94.
Finally, the updated FilmPack includes five new state-of-the-art analog film renders (Cinestill Redrum 200, LomoChrome Metropolis 200, Lomography Redscale XR 200, Berlin Kino B&W 400 and Earl Gray B&W 100), 20 new digital effects and a new series of digital renders. This will bring the total number of customizable high-quality color and monochrome film renderings to 89, as well as 82 digital styles.
The updated PhotoLab 7 introduces unique new color calibration and editing tools, an updated local adjustment system, and a powerful new black-and-white workflow.
PhotoLab 7 will allow photographers to apply realistic and accurate color profiles to their images, working in conjunction with one of six supported color check schemes from Calibrite and Datacolor.
In addition to improved color accuracy and control, users will be able to use lookup tables (LUTs) in PhotoLab 7, which comes with 17 DxO starter presets.
Additionally, Hue/Saturation/Luminance (HSL) editing can now be adjusted locally using the software’s built-in color wheel. Improved black and white editing workflows, giving users the ability to quickly and easily switch between versions. Finally, local settings have been “updated” to give users the ability to make precise local settings.
