Description : Arturia, in partnership with Dr. Bob Moog, presents a synthesizer, from which, in fact, it all started … This huge modular system showed that electronics can be musical, so it is a catalyst for every synthesizer that we see today. We revived the uplifting modular synthesizer that has dominated the music world since the 1960s.
Modular synthesis at its best : Originally sold as custom units for artists such as Tomita, Klaus Schultz, Beatle’s, Tangerine Dream, etc., we have recreated a gigantic collection of the best modules. With 9 oscillators, 3 filter slots, 2 LFOs, 6 envelopes, VCA, mixers, sequencer, etc., this classic synthesizer does not limit you in creative pursuits.
Modular Madness : If you need very simple sounds, there is no need to look for them here. Modular V is the complexity and nuances that only a modular patch can contain. With more power to generate and modulate than any other synthesizer, this is the benchmark for integrated sound design.
Modular system : includes some very rare module replicas, as well as several innovative effects developed by the Arturia team, such as formant filter and ring modulator. Modular V will give you the opportunity to use all the sound features.
A bit of history : In 1964, the first prototype synthesizer was released. It was presented at the AES Show (Audio Engineering Society) and immediately aroused great interest. In 1965, Bob Mug decided to release the 900 series for commercial sale, and in 1967 he decided to produce different machines, each of which has a certain number of modules. This meant the birth of modular systems I, II and III.
Pure Analog : TAE® (True Analog Emulation) is a new technology developed by Arturia that allows digital modulation of analog circuits. Implementing TAE in Modular V results in:
– Oscillators work without aliasing, without extra processor load.
– the best reproduction of analog oscillators: lamps and oscillator instability are simulated, which helps to reproduce a typical warm sound.
– Very accurate reproduction of the legendary low-pass filter.
Preset Browser : Search by name or simply select the appropriate tags. You can tag and upload your presets, enter comments and customize lists. There has never been a more intuitive way to manage your library of designed or personal presets.
Scaling : user interfaces for all Arturia tools are now resized, making it easy to work with any high-resolution screen, UHD or Retina. You can decide whether you want to fill the screen with stunning graphic reproductions of classical instruments, minimize the window when you work in DAW or zoom in for detailed work.
