Dedalus Delay is a powerful real time audio manipulation tool.
From reverberant atmospheres to developing resonances, from rhythmic pulsation to chaotic layering,
from subtle choir to pure noise distortion, the Dedalus Delay offers endless possibilities for shaping your sound.
Peculiarities :
The delay can be set in rhythm values, in seconds, and also in tones (resonances) of MIDI notes.
The delay time can be continuously changed and granulated.
Feedback can be set up to 200% to create endless constantly changing resonances. A limiter in the feedback loop prevents uncontrolled increase in the volume of the sound.
Two cascade filters of the fourth order (low-pass and high-pass) allow you to shape the audio spectrum in the feedback loop.
The overdrive module creates a warm distortion that adds depth to the sound.
The duck/gate dynamics processor allows the sound created by the delay to “breathe” along with the rhythmic accents of the incoming sound.
The plugin has 8 modulators that can be used to change all parameters. One modulator can modulate another modulator and even modulate itself! You can draw a modulator waveform, use a step sequencer, or use a random waveform generator.
